# Create a buy offer

If you cannot find a sell offer that meets your requirements (exchange rate, desired amount, or token pair), you can create your own buy offer.

1. **Set the Token to Receive:**

Specify the token you wish to buy as the token to receive.
2. **Set the Token to Sell:**

Specify the token you will use for payment as the token to sell.

⚠️ In Bakstag, an offer is a sell offer by default. Therefore the exchange rate is expressed in dst/src and amount is expressed in src, where src means token to sell and dst - token to receive.

3. **Adjust other offer parameters**\
Set the exchange rate and the amount to reflect the desired receive amount (the amount you want to buy).\
Ensure you have enough tokens to sell, as these will be locked in the Escrow until someone accepts your offer or you cancel it.
4. **Chill**

Your desired tokens will be transferred to you as soon as someone accepts your offer.
